Chris Metsala builds websites and consults organizations on IT strategy, planning, security, and social media. For more than 20 years, he has planned, designed, implemented and managed technology-related projects, teams and facilities. From 2011 to 2017, Chris was a contractor to the Joint Chiefs of Staff at the Pentagon where he supported planning and strategy for IT modernizations needed to keep U.S. military systems up-to-date and secure, and managed a team of engineers and analysts building mission-critical web applications for senior leadership. Prior to his time at the Pentagon, Chris, as a contractor to the Department of Homeland Defense, helped to build one of the first social media monitoring centers in the Federal government, working to maintain transparency and adherence to privacy regulations. He also has experience producing live Webcast productions on a national scale for government agencies, political campaigns and Fortune 500 corporations.
